I agree it is true, if understood in a parable, metaphor, allegorical, symbolic, and archetypal way. Selective (& too literalist) views of scriptural attempts to describe Totality-Reality is a big problem in the world, IMHO. People pick and choose what to believe about cultural religions like Christianity, but pretty much comply with the religion of government, as Mark Passio might say (https://www.whatonearthishappening.wtf/p/government-is-slavery). They might protest policies but still want government to control others, but not themselves. They should be protesting government as an entity, period.
