Launching into the platform of true free speech
Welcome to Worldwide Freedom Network, a freedom entrance portal into the decentralized qortal blockchain encrypted network that is technologically IMPOSSIBLE to censor.
The free software to access the network is available by clicking the image link below.

The Freedom Network idea also refers to a worldwide network of freedom oriented PEOPLE who learn about the freedom value of decentralized platforms and learn to utilize them!
Currently, qortal platform is like an intranet (private access) on the internet (public access), except qortal blockchain project is NOT owned by a corporation and does NOT have a CEO. Like the Bitcoin network, it is an open source project that is updated and administered by freedom loving people voluntarily donating their time and expertise to make it a success.
Click this link to be taken inside the qortal network to view an example website using a gateway link. Please be patient, as decentralized tech is sometimes a little slower to initally load, as it must grab parts of the website files from many different computers connected to the network that choose to voluntarily share some hardware space. Notice the url will change to:
https://qortal.link/crowetic instead of the typical https://www.domain.com protocol
The above link is maintained by Jason Crowe, one of the founders of qortal decentralized network, so it is fairly popular and should load in a reasonable time.
The big advantage of networking computers this way is that it is impossible to censor, but a disadvantage is the initial load time can frustrate some users. Your browser download request pulls bits of a file from perhaps millions of computers connected to the network. And then the qortal app digitally re-creates the file from the many digital bits. Now you can view your webpage, video, audio, etc... but you must wait for the entire file to download and reconstruct.
This technique makes it rather impossible to censor ANYTHING, since it would require agents of the state to manually go to each of the millions of computer locations, wherever they are in the world, and either destroy that computer or delete the information. And they simply don't have the manpower to do that. With all the censorship of truth/freedom these days, forward thinking people have been developing this kind of decentralized network for some time.
For those accustomed to the traditional centralized internet, we expect fast load times. If your browser requests a video link from a centralized server, such as godaddy hosting, the video will start to play almost immediately, because it is streaming the data stream. You watch the video while the stream continues to deliver content in the background in real-time. With decentralzied networks, you must download the entire digital data before the video can play. Again, this prevents censorship but can take a little more time.
In the centralized client-server model, if millions of people go to a website at the same time, it can overload the central server, as there is only one place in the world to obtain that file. It also makes censorship easy. The government just threatens godaddy with violence because the website contains "misinformation or disinformation" (ie truth the government doesn't want you to know) and typically the ISP will immediately cave to the pressure.
In the decentralized peer-to-peer model, if millions of people go to a website at the same time, it can actually increase the speed for loading the webpage, as there are potentially millions of places from which to grab the digital information (assuming you have a popular video). It also makes censorship impossible, because there isn't enough manpower to manually control millions of computers. Who can the government threaten in this situation? Qortal Data Network (QDN) has no ISP hosting company and no CEO, because qortal network is NOT a corporation and nobody owns it. You can publish all the "misinformation or disinformation" you want and nobody can stop you. The source code of the project is free for anybody to copy and use/change as you wish, called open-source code.
Again, I suggest you reach into qortal network HERE, as that link is qortal founder Jason Crowe's explanations, which he can probably do better than me. :-)
Although a regular browser can peer into the qortal network with a gateway link, you can access many more functions (such as creating your own website) from inside qortal network itself; to do this, you need to download the free software to login directly to the network. Click HERE to jump back up to the top of this page, and then simply click the qortal icon.
Stay tuned. I will be adding blog posts to qortal network and enabling entrance links from Worldwide Freedom Network.
